I used Hal Watson for many years and was quite pleased. However, Bob Watson recently sold the company and I have not been impressed with the company under the new management. My favorite service tech from Hal Watson now works for The Woodlands Heating & Air Conditioning. I highly recommend them as a company. Two months ago we had both our upstairs and downstairs units replaced by The Woodlands Heating & Air Conditioning and the owner Phil Musial was great to work with. My husband and I are both very technical so we were full of questions. Phil reviewed all the data with us in great detail, and if he didn't have an immediate answer, he got back to us right away. His installers were very professional and detailed. I purchased another Trane system but they install other brands as well.Â

after calling several companies…‎‎
after calling several companies regarding my old a c unit, and getting more confused with all the options, i called the woodlands heating and a/c on a sunday morning, and a human answered the phone!!! i spoke with the service manager jeff bell who was there finishing some paperwork. he answered several questions for me and offered to come talk in person, shortly after he arrived with broshures and all sorts of data, he answered all my questions and scheduled the installation of my new Carrier system, he handled every aspect to completion, and made it a pleasureable experience. i am so pleased with my new system!! and the lowered power bills as well!!!

Absolutely the best around!! You're crazy to call anyone else. The team of technicians here are the best service repairmen in the industry - I have no doubt about this. They answered my call in person - no answering service. I had an extremely weird problem with the A/C system in my house, and their dedication to troubleshooting the problem to the very end was amazing. Their professionalism, courtesy and respect to my family and our house superceded any other technicians I have ever had out for any repair. Most important to all of us feeling the crunch - they didn't nickel and dime me over every little thing. Their prices were more than reasonable and their workmanship was top notch. I cannot urge you enough to make this call, instead of any others, to get your A/C systems repaired correctly for the best price. No funny stuff, these guys are the real pros. Thank you Woodlands Heating & AC - our A/C nightmare is finally over thanks to you!Â

A refreshing change! My air conditioner went out and I called thesm for a service call. Within one hour, a technician was at my door. This was impressive because it was 6:30 pm on a Friday. After looking everything over, the technician simply flipped the power switch in the attic and everything came on. At that moment, I realized I had inadvertently turned the unit off when I was in the attic putting away some boxes. There was a little chuckle when we realized this was all it was. Here's the best part....he did not even charge me for the service call. He said he was on his way home for the night and not too worry about it. I even tried to tip him and he declined. They have a new loyal customer! Thank You! Â

Truely Impressive!
I dont often do reviews but this needs to be told.. I am very grateful to you guys at The Woodlands Heating & AC.
Thursday ...Got home from work, it is end of June, daughter is coming home from college just for the weekend, rest of kids are home for summer, and the ac quits! And of course my husband is offshore dealing with the BP mess and wont be home for 2 more weeks. I work full time downtown. So called and they had a real person answer even though it was like 7 at night. The next morning they came out and my teenage son was home. They throughly checked everything and found a short , a worn wire and a fuse.Â
They repaired what was wrong, called me and also wrote a compete invoice of what they did. The service technician was very nice, prompt, professional and you could tell he knew his stuff. The A/C works like a champ now! They had all that done by mid morning! Oh and dont let "the woodlands" in their name scare you. When my husband asked from offshore .. What was the damage when I told him how much it was he replied.. "Oh is that all?" these words seldom cross his lips! They were very reasonable!!
I have saved this number in my cell phone and this company will have my ac business forever. Being treated fairly price-wise and really professional honest service work in todays world are a rare find!

"We decided to replace our 30 year old A/C and heating system before the summer heat hits. We checked several companies and different brands and when we found Phil at The Woodlands Heating and Air Conditioning, we knew we had found our company. He was punctual, informative and knowledgeable during our initial consult, also cheaper for more Seers than anyone else we spoke with! I am a bit of a control freak and we emailed back and forth for several days, verifing our chosen options, installation day and Texas Rebate forms. (Yes, we were one of the people who actually got through!) He answered promptly and friendly. Today, he arrived on time and our new units were installed, inside unit, outside compressor and new duct work in the attic in 6 hours!!! His crew were friendly, polite, neat and very hard working! I highly recommend Phil and his company to anyone interested in an honest company. Thanks Phil, job well done!!!"

SuperBowl Party Saved!‎‎
"When we woke up Sunday morning, our house was cold. Not real cold, but enough to ruin our SuperBowl party. I called The Woodlands Heating & Air Conditioning and to my amazement, a human answered. No voicemail or dispatchers, a real human! They had a technician here within an hour and had our furnace working in no time. Most impressive, there was no extra charge for the Sunday service call. Great guys, fair price……..highly recommend them if you need your heat or air conditioning repaired. SuperBowl party saved, thanks!"

Excellent, timely service‎‎
"I called this morning at 8:30 am to report a problem at a house I rent out. The gentleman who answered the phone diagnosed the problem from my description, and it turned out the problem was much less sinister than I thought. They had the problem fixed by 10:30 am for a reasonable price, and my tenants were exceedingly happy to have their A/C back. They were very polite and a pleasure to work with all around. They saved me a lot of headache and a trip up to my property. Highly recommended."

Great HVAC company
"AC went out and already had a leaking coil unit so I decided to replace my old 4.0 ton Rheem 13 SEER A/C . I needed to get quick service as my wife was 36 weeks pregnant at the time. I called around and had three different companies quote me for replacing the (outside) compressor and the (indoor) coil. With 3 quotes in hand I had to make a decision quickly (remember the pregnant wife is at home all day in the heat). Out of the three vendors, Phil, the owner of "The Woodlands Heating and Air Conditioning" was very helpful with cost options for designing a new A/C system for the house. There is also up to $1500 tax credit for systems equal and over 16 SEER rating and he factored that into the options for new systems. I decided on a new 16 SEER Maytag system and they came to install it the next day. The system was all stainless steel and looks great outside my house. The installation crew, Lee and Stephen, installed the system perfectly and took pride in their work to leave us with a beautiful, efficient system that will save us money on our electric bill and last for years to come. The company has 2 years labor warranty standard and the Maytag system has a 12 year warranty leaving me with peace of mind knowing I won't be paying for new parts in the near future. Aside from the company being highly professional, they were very personable and great with my dog Cooper. They showed up when they said they will show up and cleaned up very well after themselves. I would recommend them to anyone needing HVAC service or new installation / replacement of old equipment and therefor give them 5 stars"
